After 5 movies of varying quality, it seems New Line Cinema felt it was time to put the "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series to rest. Or they got filled up with a horror movie bunch of people who just didn't like the series, (blog post) as the science fiction movie reviews only movie this entry has any connection to is the first.
